Avil Milk Shake



Avil milk shake is a healthy milk shake. This is not the traditional malabar aval shake in which they do roast the aval and do layers. This is a quick and easy shake in which you blend all the ingredients.
A quick nourish for your trouble some eaters.

Ingredients

1. Milk  1 cup
2. Almonds 4 (Peanuts or Cashews)
3. Dates  1 or 2, deseeded.
4. Aval/ Rice flakes  a handful
5. Sugar 1 tsp if needed (increase dates for sweetness)
6. Horlicks 1 tsp (optional)
7. Banana 1 (njalipoovan/robusta)

Method

Blend all ingredients in the blender using 1/2 cup of milk at first.

Add the remaining milk once they are mixed well and blend till silky smooth.

Mango Milk Shake

It is summer, it is hot and it is the time of sweet mangoes...
Mango milk shake is very refreshing, nutritious and filling.
It is very simple and can be made instantly.





















Here goes the recipe:

Ingredients:

1.Fresh ripe mangoes 2
2.Milk 1 cup
3.Condensed milk(optional) 2Tbsp
4.Sugar as needed
5.Ice cubes few


Method:

Peel the mangoes and get the pulp
Blend all ingredients together.
Serve chilled as such or with vanilla icecream scoop.

Milky Melon - to cool off this summer !!



Ingredients


Water Melon 2 cups
Milk maid 1/4 cup (or more as required)
Water 2 cups
Sugar (add if needed)


Method


Remove the seeds and grind the melon to smaller pieces.Chill in freezer. Blend all ingredients together to make a thick shake.  Put some ground melon pieces on top if you prefer.
It is super simple and kids are going to love this.

Carrot Cashew Milk Shake



























Ingredients

1.Carrot - 4
2.Milk - 500 ml
3.Sugar
4.Cashew nuts - 6

Preparation
Make a fine paste of cashew nuts and keep aside.
Cut carrot to small pieces and cook it using 1 cup milk and some water. 2/3 whistles in pressure cooker.
Boil the rest of the milk by the time and let everything cool.
Blend all well , adding cashew nuts as well.
Adjust the sugar and consistency according to your taste.
Serve cold.

Notes
Almonds can also be used for the milk shake, instead of cashew nuts.
